    Author of John Ford (1978), Peter Bogdanovich is widely recognised in America as one of the major enthusiast of Ford’s work having made the acclaimed documentary Directed By Ford (1971). Bogdanovich released a revised version of the documentary in 2006 including new interviews with Clint Eastwood and Martin Scorsese.

    Luke Gibbons
    Professor, National University of Ireland

    Luke Gibbons is Professor of Irish Literary and Cultural Studies at the School of English, Drama and Media Studies. He formerly taught at the University of Notre Dame, U.S. and Dublin City University. He has penned the books ‘The Quiet Man’ (2002) and is the co- author of Cinema in Ireland (1988), the first academic study of Irish cinema.
